URGENT COMUNICATION
Dear all,
from information we have received only lately by Elsevier we understand that it is not requested to submit Word text already formatted in Radiation Measurements style but it sufficient that:
Manuscripts must be submitted in single-column format (the type-setting template is only supplied to estimate the final length of the paper).
Manuscripts should be preferably typewritten using MS Word? with a line spacing of 1.5 throughout, i.e. also for abstracts, footnotes and references. This will facilitate the referees' evaluation.
It is requested that you ensure the proper length of your article. Manuscripts should not exceed 4 printed pages (i.e. the equivalent of 3600 words, including figures, tables and references).
For your guidance: each single-column figure and table is approximately equivalent to 150 words; each double-column figure and table is approximately equivalent to 400 words.
Tables and illustrations should never be included in the text. Each table should be placed on a separate page at the end of the manuscript. Each illustration should be submitted individually online, preferably as JPG or TIFF files.
For further information on the preparation of electronic artwork, please visit:
http:/www.elsevier.com/artworkinstructions .
NB: For manuscripts that may have been already loaded and accepted by the Elsevier system, obviously this does not apply.
Papers in Latex are apparently accepted
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and extra work this may cause to you.
